Members present: Wayne P. Southworth, Easton; Dave Masciarelli, Sharon; Jennifer
Carlino, Norton; Suzanne Erikson, Norton; Greg Meister, Sharon; Bob Boette, Foxboro;

I. CALL TO ORDER — Meeting called to order at 1:00 P.M. by Wayne Southworth.
11. REVIEW MINUTES — Minute unanimously accepted.
111. WATER CONSERVATION AND LAWN CALK SEMINAR — MARCH 2000
MIKE WALSH — SPEAKER A request was sent to the Norton School Department
requesting to use their facilities for the seminar. A tentative date is scheduled for
March 30, 2000 at the Norton Middle School. A final check on videotaping will be
taken care of and Wayne Southworth will be notified with a definite confirmation of
the date and location.
Ill. GREEN BELT PROJECT UPDATE — A letter written by Leonard Flynn to send to
select state officials was read. This letter was looking for support in the return of the
_ land along 495 in Norton by deed. Mass Highway was considering returning the land
under a Care and Control Agreement rather than a deed. The CRAAC is looking for
letters of support to be sent to Mass Highway in regards to the return of the land.
V. QRANT APPLICATION — JEN CORLINO — A draft letter of the Riverways Grant was
passed out to everyone for corrections and comments. Some last minute information
was gathered. It was voted unanimously to officially apply for the grant. The grant
letter will be finalized and sent out prior to the next meeting.
VII.OTHER BUSINESS — The CRAAC was invited to Comm. Preservation Day on
Wednesday, December 8, 1999 at the Great Hall from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Car stickers were discussed and a preliminary logo was passed around. Wayne is going
to try to get different samples of stickers for the next meeting.
A discussion on Water Restrictions will be on the next meetings agenda.
Annual Schedule will be sent to everyone.
Next meeting Thursday, January 6, 2000 at Foxboro Town Hall.
Meeting adjourned at 2:00 P.M. to have a presentation of the Sharon GIS system with
Sharon Town Engineer, Eric Hooper and Assistant Town Engineer, Charlie Sanchez.
