and in detail and the council voted to allocate thea following funds:

of Fine Arts

The council set aside a sum of one hundred ($100.00) dollars to pay`
for administrative costs. Newspaper advertising and mailing expenses
were the reason for this sun of money.
The council then decided to send letters to those organizations for
which the funds were granted, once approved by the State, and inform
them of the grant. The council also decided that a small explanation
should accompany the congradulatory letters. Because the total grant
was $2020.00, the council could not be as generous as it has been in
the past.
The council also decided to have astable at the Arts and Crafts Fair on
November 2, 1985 to inform the public of what it was doing to promote
the arts in Mansfield.
The list of funds allocated was voted on and passed by the majority
vote. Paul Split volunteered to take this list and the applications
to the Arts Lottery Council in Boston, Massachusetts before the '
November 1, 1985 deadline.
