Re -consideration Meeting
October 18,.1988
Held at Mansfield Public Library, 7 p.m.

Notices were sent to applicants. Great Woods Educational Forum
replied thanking us for our consideration.
#08012 Paula Foresman/Lynne Stewart of Quiltessentials
Director of Library does not think there is sufficient
wall space in new facility for a 60"x 60" framed quilt.
Suggests we go ahead and raffle quilt and use funds for
new facility. Perhaps at another time, a smaller quilt
might be a possibility.
Members discussed what type of pattern this quilt would
have as applicants did not have a sample. Voted to fund
this application but would like to see a paper sketch of

#08015 Mansfield Educational Arts Council (MEAC) Robinson School

There was some confusion on the July -Dec, funding application
and some of the performances applied for could not be
scheduled. Council voted to allow the following substitutions:
Marc J. Levitt sub. for Gerwick Puppets
Marcia Purlmutter sub. for Opera -to -Go
Chairman also asked for the following substitution on her
#08015 Jan. -June application.
Marc J. Levitt sub. for Len Cabral
All substitutions were approved and chairman was advised
to submit written substitutions in the future.
#08016 Mansfield Elementary Arts Council (MEAC) Park Row/Roland Green

It came to our attention that Marcia Purlmutter was scheduled
at these schools for November but she was not on July -Dec.
funding application. Called chairman and she said we had
been on the Marcia Purlmutter waiting list for over two years
and were finally called, so we had to schedule her for this
fall and were unaware of it when last application was submitted.
Council voted to approve this substitution and any others
that this re -scheduling might affect. Carole Duclos will
notify chairman of MEAC and all further substitutions must
be submitted to the Council in writing.
