Community Input Meeting

Attendees: Linda Gordon, June Cauldwell (Prospective new
members), Andrea Micheli, Andrea Riiska (MEAL)
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM. Suzanne Shaver
welcomed attendees, and explained materials available. Members of
the Mansfield Cultural Council were introduced; the purpose of the
Council and its general schedule and method of operation was
explained. The two prospective members received answers to
questions about the expectations of a Council member. Suzanne
stated that, with the submission of these two applications, the
membership of the Council is now at capacity.
Carole Duclos read the list of grant recipients for FY 95/96. Following
was a discussion of the state and local criteria considered by this
Council in the grant -making process. Special praise and
acknowledgment went to Versa -Care, and the excellent display
showcasing the artwork completed by its clients in one of the MCC
grant -assisted programs.
During the question and answer period, Suzanne Shaver stressed the
need for MEAC and the PACs to remember to submit for
reimbursement with the proper documentation and evidence of
compliance with the MCC rules.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15.
