Hannon',,,,W/ Subject: Transfer to Account #700-0 -- Water Department Salaries In reference to a transfer request dated December 19, 1973, i for ;$2,000 fog ater-Jegartjnent overtime, please amend that request to be reduced t 1 Ob. e transfer would still be made to Ao- count # 700-0, Water Department Salaries. The balance in the account as of May 30 was $3,178.94. Sal-aries for department personnel will encumber $4,393.12, leaving the account with a present deficit of x$1,214.18. In addition, overtime has already been incurred through this date in Juste, and some addi- tional overtime is expected while the pump in well #3 is being re - j ( placed by Layne -New England over this weekend. Please see attached copy of the December 19 transfer request stating the reasons for the transfer need. The request is reduced because the Cate Spring insurance reimbursement included some over- time expended for Water Department and Fire Department personnel who cleaned up and provided emergency pumping services while the pump equipment was being restored. The temporary shut -down of wells 4 and 5, of course, is responsible for much of the additional ex- pense, especially in making the, cross -connections with Foxboro 'and Attleboro.
