r' Minutes of Meeting: .5/6/74
Call to order: 7:30 p.m.
New Business: 1. Met with Br. Sheenan (Chairman of the Library Trustees) for
discussion relating to salary for a new head Librarian. Our
recommendation was to go before Town Meeting for approval on
salary.
2. FinCom Reviewed the Annual Town Warrant and are going, to make
the following changes.:
a. Add line Item 110-3 "Printing & Advertizing" $3500
b.. Change the recommended figure for account number
687.-0 from $8500 to $5000.
c, Capital Improvement Program
Change the recommended amount for account #708-0 Water
Main - South Main St. from $0 to $20,000. This will allow
preparation for engineering specifications so that we
have a firm base from which a final figure can be agreed
upon before we proceed.
Change the recommended amount in account number 731-0
Well Exploration Program from $0 to $10000. Based upon
Fiscal 1973 Year, in a 14 month period ending March 31, 1974
out of the $10000 appropriated for an. 18 month budget they
have spent only $4500. Based upon. this figure the
