New Business: 1. This meeting was called to review and edit
the proof copy of Article 2. The; proof we
received was not what we originally had submitted
to the printer. There were two changes incorporated
within this report without our knowledge,by the
Town Manager. The changes included were the following:
The addition of $18,000 line item in the Electric
Light Department budget.
Replacement of the Finance Committee's recommended
Title Page.
This action was taken with no advance notice being given
to any member of the Finance Committee, a serious
discourtesy at the least. This open abuse of authority'
by the Town Manager will not be tolerated in the future.'
This incident was 'referred to the Selectmen for further
action.
The printing and distribution of Article 2 will be
further delayed as a result of the above described
incident which seriously impairs the integrity of
�7 that office.

2. -Mr. Robert Eames, Chairman of the Board of Assessors'
met with the Finance Committee to request that an
additional amount of $600 be transferred from the
reserve fund to 191-4
as a result of incurring additional expenses.

Vote - 5 in favor
Finance Committee recommeds that $600'be transferred`
from the reserve fund to account number 191-4.
