MINUTES OF MEETING
JANUARY 7, 1982 ji
PRESENT: R. Dotson, J. White,. V. Forte, W. Flannery, J. Houghton
Meeting called to order at 8:12PM'
Discussion of possible meeting nights for the Budget Review FY 1983
it was decided that we would meet on Monday Evenings at 7:30PM,
Thursday evenings at 7:30PM and if necessary Sunday mornings at 9:OOAM
to review the FY 83 budget.
It was stressed that the School Committee would he reviewing the Budget
on Tuesday evenings during their regular meetings. We should have at least
two members present during the School Committee Budget Review. The Chairman
was advise members'of exact School Committee Meeting dates where there will
be a Budget review.
Discussinon of Municipal Budget review with Department Heads and Board/Committee
Chairmen.
It was decided that we would invite all Department Heads and Board/Committee
Chairmen to the Finance Committee Budget review of their specific area.We
would allow the Department head the opportunity to challenge the request a
submitted by the Town Manager.
Town Manager to advise Department Heads and Board/Committee Charimen of
Review dates.

2. Community Development,Human Resources,Recreation/
Conservation Sections 7, 8 & 9

All members in agreement with above tentative schedule. Town Manager
will advise all Department Heads and Chairmen of various Boards/Committees
of our Schedule and arrange for joint meetings.
