MINUTES OF MEETING
TOWN OF MANSFIELD
FINANCE COMMITTEE
JUNE 28, 1982
A meeting of the Mansfield Finance Committee was held at the Town Hall
on June 28, 1982. The meeting was called to order at 7:35 PM by the
Chairman, Roger Dotson.
Members Present: R. Dotson, J. White, S. Quinn, T. Markt, V. Forte
Town Manager W. Chadwick Mauer was also present for this meeting to
discuss various Transfer Requests.
Minutes of the March 29, April 12 and May 10, 1982 meetings were
read and accepted as written:

Memorandum from Board of Selectmen re: Use of Town Council
Release from. Bureau of Accounts giving Definations of Emergency Transfer
At this point, the Finance Committee fully discussed and took the following
action on Transfer Requests received from the Town Manager:
(Reserve Fund Balance as of 5-25-82 (Corrected) - $130,350.9q)
#12 $1,066.00 Inspection Fees (April) 3803-0 Quinn/Markt So Voted
#13 $ 510.00 ARRC Recreation Busses 4800-044 White/Markt 'So Voted
#14 $1,441.00 Vocational Training Tuition (Schools) Markt/White So Voted
(It was noted that this was the first. time for a Transfer Request for
this item. Normally it is paid through the School Department)
#15 $ 568.00 Census List 3006-052 Markt/White So Voted
#16 $ 250.00 Conservation Secretary 4903-000 Quinn/Markt So Voted
#17 $ 884.00 Inspection Fees (May) 3803-0 Quinn/Markt So Voted
#18 $ 200.00 Board of Appeals Secty. 3811-104 Markt/Quinn So Voted
#19 *$21,500.00 Fire Dept Salary(Est Amt.) 3201-000 Quinn/Markt So Voted
* Amount of Request changed by -Town Manager to the above. According to Mr
Mauer this amount will be sufficient according to latest figs received
(Total Transfered $26,419.00 Remaining balance -$103,931.90)
Had a Discussion regarding pending Transfer requests being held by Town Manager:

Snow & Ice Removal $32,000.00
Police Salary $-5,300.00
Insurance $ 2,200.00
Fire Dept Equipment $ 4,500.00
Police Dept Expense", $ 21600.00
Town Council Ekpense $ 5,000.00
Labor�.e Attorney $ 3,236.00
Town Hall Expense (Roof) $ 2,000.00
Most of the above will be submitted to the Selectmen and Finance Committee
within the Week. Finance Committee voted to Hold our next meeting on July 1, 1982
to take necessary action on any additional requests submitted
