MINUTES OF THE MEETING
March 3, 1983
Present: J. White, R. Dotson, V. Forte, J. Brunelli, T. Markt
Also Present: Selectman Dunn, Town Manager Maurer
The meeting was called to order by Chairman White at 8:10 P.M.
There was general discussion on how to reduce the municipal budget
in Mansfield if the debt exemption is not passed by the voters at
Town Election.
A motion was made by R. Dotson and seconded by T. Markt that the Finance
Committee recommend to the Board of Selectmen that the Town Meeting be
postponed because the current budget as presented has too many variables
in the amount of Revenue that is proposed to be generated, and it is
felt that expenses are not in balance with revenues.
Chairman White will present the recommendation at the next Board of
Selectmen's meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:37 P.M. on a motion by R.Dotson/V. Forte.
