Chairman Quinn called the meeting to order at 7:47
Minutes and correspondence approved and filed..
There are three openings to befilled at the end of 1883. Two
of these seats are now hold by Roger Dotson and John Brunelli..
The Finance Committee recommends, reappointment of these two
memb or a.
Three appl'ioantm applied II.br a,recommendation to the Select -
sen who make the appointment. The three applicants aro:Ken
Fraser„ Mel Schwartz,, and Jonathan Pierce. Chairman Quinn ex-
plained the duties and methods:of the operation and time in-
volved. All seemed well qualified and expressed a willing-
ness to allot time enough to do the job.
After the interview., Ken Fraser was voted as our nominee.
Chairman Quinn expressed his dissatisfaction with budget
problems in other years and suggested that this committee
become involved early and investigate anticipated revenue..
Dotson suggested School Committee make changes in budget pro-
cedure. White suggested reduce budget by a set percentage. Dot -
moved to reduce budget IOF/o, seconded.by Markt- passed.
Suggest a letter be sent to Town Manager and Superintendent
of Schools and also to Selectmen and School Committee concern-
ing revenuo projections.. Chairman Quinn will post meeting for
Tuesday Des. I3.
