1- Request for Transfer from Reserve Fund
- Removal of fuel tank at 11 Shawmut Ave. $4,500. (PUBLIC
SAFETY)
$9,500 will request at Town Meeting for cleaning and removing
the underground tanks.
Motion to approve by Jerry; approved 4-0
2- Briefing on new request for TM from Fire department.
- 1977 purchased at $130K. Refurbish 1990 @ $75K .After
inspection needs approx. $25K.
Fire chief proposal: to buy a new one $450K.
Cannot use any more. Foxboro/Norton to support Mansfield.
Paying $58K for truck FY97 & FY98.(Pumper)
Trade in value TBD.
Lease Purchase w/o Bonding would be our recommendation.
