While some landscaping repair work has been done, the
landscaping contractor is clearly not performing" The
architect was directed to send a letter to the landscaping
contractor stating he is in violation of "intent of spec." for
seven day notice" Planting season is closing soon and it is
the opinion of the committee that he will not perform. If

Two invoices were presented from E.J. Flynn engineering. These
two invoices were previously approved for payment but have not
yet been paid` R. Gurek notes the town is switching to a new
computer system and it is possible they may not have been paid
yet. He will follow up.
HMFH presented an invoice for $182,754 (100% of schematic
design, 100% of design documents and 75% of contract
documents). A motion was made, seconded and voted unanimous to
pay the invoice.
The MBC raised two concerns on this project" One is that we
cannot proceed without funds and the second is we must have a
contingency plan. A. Micheli notes she heard from state rep.
W. Vernon and that Mansfield will be redy for hoard review in
Aug 1990^ In all cases, we must get through the conservation
committee review promptly" HMFH notes we are on their calendar
for Oct. 10 review"
R. Gurek requested the architect's assistance in drafting a
letter to Dr. Freyermuth regarding ograndfathering" the
reimbursement rate Mansfield currently has. The architec
agreed and will draft the letter"
HMFH also drafted a letter from the MBC to the town plumbing
inspector requesting his approval to use "unisex" toilets in
certain areas of the building and requested the MBC sign it.
The request was made as the town inspector has some confusion
in his mind as to who should approve "unisex" toilets (state
or town). The opinion of the MBC is that it is the town
inspector who has jurisdiction. The M9r signed the letter.
The school complex's computer networking capability was
discussed and a motion was made, seconded and voted unanimous
to appoint R. Gurek and F. Guerdabascio as a sub -committee to
