Meeting called to order by S. MacCaffrie at 7:40.
MOTION: Accept minutes of 12/11/90 with amendment to
statement under New Business -second paragraph

12/17/90: Revise Fire Alarm Zone Schedule Systems 1 & 2.

Kindergarten canopies at Parts A & D.
Revise leveling plate dimensions for two columns

Letter of 12/26/90 from McPhail Assoc, Geotechnical Engineers to
HMFH enclosing daily field monitoring reports for the new
elementary complex during the period of 12/5-21/90. Specifically
the foundation was monitored.
Concrete Inspection Reports from U T S of Mass., Inc., M.
Deshler, during period of 12/5-20/90.
Letter of 1/3/91, from HMFH, C. Traynor, to R. W. Granger
considering Fenestra Corp. as an "or equal". This augments RFI
17, of 12/27/90.

Letter of 12/27/90 from R. Lewis, Environ. & Conserv. Planner, to
R. W. Granger regarding the problem of dirt getting onto Ware
Street from trucks entering and leaving project site.
Letter of 12/24/90 from HMFH to R. W. Granger stating they are
aware of instances of persons walking through site and that
Granger should take responsibility for security and safety of
project during construction per Spec. Sec. 01500, at no additional
cost to contract.
Letter of 12/14/90 from HMFH, C. Traynor, to S. MacCaffrie stating
R. W. Granger has submitted a form for approval to give to their
subs at each Application for Payment. HMFH wants to make sure it
is satisfactory to Town.
Letter of 12/20/90 from Dr. Warren, to S. MacCaffrie requesting he
join him 1/15/91 on the telecast "Inside our Schools with Dr.
.Warren".
Letter of 12/12/90 from HMFH to R. W. Granger regarding temporary
electric work at complex. It advises that work done under protest
must be monitored with time and material slips submitted daily to
J.O'Keefe. Also HMFH's letter of 11/28/90 to Granger is still
valid.
Letter of 12/12/90 from HMFH to R. W. Granger following up vote at
12/11/90 meeting that Granger submit Certificate of Insurance for
All -Risk Insurance naming Town as insured on or before 12/19/90.
Letter of 12/10/90 from HMFH to Dr. Warren advising Estimated
Approval Construction Cost of`$18,086,640 includes all costs shown
on Form F Part A which includes General Contract, Architect's Fee,
Equipment and costs as itemized.
Letter of 12/5/90 from HMFH, R. Juusola, to R. W. Granger advising
that they do not feel Granger is entitled to any additional
compensation ($46,837) for electricity and lighting. HMFH feels
Granger is required to provide this work as part of the contract
requirements.

J. O'Keefe submitted this meeting Clerk's Update Report for
Elementary Complex.
New Bess
J. O'Keefe brought blue prints of pavement. J. O'Keefe suggested
aerial photos be taken of site before erection of steel. Planning
on erecting steel second week in March.
HMFH's letter of 1/9/90 to R.W. Granger discussed. Schedule of
Shop Drawings still not received from Granger. Further to HMFH's
letter was statement about identifying material substitutions
(doors, masonry items, etc.), ) It was advised to HMFH that there
should be no substitutions.
