MOTION: Send letter to Conservation Commission regarding Minuet Man -
Construction with respect to Public Library.

Fax of 9/9/91 from MBC to HMFH advising they should provide necessary
information regarding light variance/window jambs so it can go out for pricing
before Griffin/Granger claim delays.
Letter of 9/3/91 from Treano and Paris, Attorneys, to Avenue Welding regarding
$94,296.70 owed by them to Bethlehem steel. Copy of correspondence given to
Town Manager for his information.
Letter of 9/3/91 from HMFH to R.W.Granger regarding COR #47 which requested
additional info on lighting fixtures and curtain track labor and materials.

Letter of 8/29/91 from HMFH to R.W.Granger regarding power tgie-in to new
school complex.
Letter of 8/29/91 from Smith & Loveless, Inc. to C&S Contracting regarding
payments C&S has not made to them in reference to Lift Station No. 16-4379-S.
Transmittal of 8/30/91 from HMFH to MBC regarding directional sign at school
complex.
MOTION: To accept COR #63 from R.W.Granger in amount of $1,165 for
a directional sign at station 3+00 at main entrance.

Fax of 9/4/91 from MBC to J. O'Keefe regarding roofing inspection report and
his comments on it.
Letter of 9/9/91 from A. French, Construction Inspector to R.W.Granger
regarding sieve analysis and compaction tests.
J. O'Keefe says that all test have been done and feels no more are necessary.
MBC feels proper channels of communication are not be used and this
should be addressed to Town Manager.
Financial
Letter of 9/9/91 from HMFH to MBC regarding letter from MBC which stated they
would take no action on HMFH invoice for $11,281 until four issues are
addressed.
MBC responded that no aspersions were cast on HMFH; however, once and
and while people have to be "jingled" for meeting notes, etc.
MOTION: Pay HMFH $11,281.

(This is less $461 for/waterline as total was $6,571.59)
Clerk of Works
Power problems have been solved. Case work and light fixtures on going.
Structural phase complete. Painting is on-going. Landscaping is being done.
R.W.Granger has to solve problem with manways. J. O'Keefe feels we do not need
manways. The manways are plastic now. MBC does not want to incur any
additional cost for manways.
R.W.Granger wants to transfer the Superintendent, Skip Conrad to U.Mass
Amherst. MBC has concern as they have been given only a one week notice. A
resume was submitted by R.W.Granger for a replacement, however, MBC not
impressed with it. MBC wants Superintendent to be approved by HMFH. MBC would
like A. Frost to be at 9/24/91 meeting of MBC to discuss this issue of
replacing superintendent.
MBC has concern about security and feels that doors, etc. should be installed
as soon as possible. Fire alarm wiring will be brought to poles and then Fire
Dept. will take it from there.
Expoxy floors have been rejected and will have to be redone.

Additional planting at service road submitted by Halvorson Co.
MOTION: Accept proposal for white pine and winter honeysuckle
in amount of $3,360. Vote: 6-0-1

Copies of Field Reports 1-36 from HMFH submitted to MBC.
Accept COR #21 of 8/15/91 which deletes double 4" high base course and replaces
with single 8" high base course with no center score joint and also add
vertical reinforcing in CMU walls. This COR does not change contract sum.

Accept COR #25 of 8/15/91 to add plaster traps in the Lwo Art Rooms. This will
increase contract by $1,532.
MOTION: Accept COR #26 of 8/15/91 for $6,650. Vote: 6-0-1

on a time and material basis to locate existing 8" water main on
East St. ThisGis M/EG amount of $8,790 00. Vote: 6-0-1
MOTION: Accept Change Order Directive in amount of $9,456 which will
add plumbing chase walls in large toiletrooms.
