Prospective bidders expressed concern over the unknown variables and liabilities and bond questions. The committee requested that Mr. St. Pierre attend a future meeting of the MBC to discuss the repackaging and negotiating of the project. Mr. Habeeb and Mr. Battles attended the meeting to discuss the draft of the Capital Asset Management Plan as prepared by Gale Associates. Steve explained that each of the members of the MBC reviewed an individual school. Steve stated that the report included many items that were not capital improvements but day-to-day operational items. He was distressed to learn that the maintenance staff had been cut this year. The MBC felt that preventative maintenance was critical. This was an issue that not only plagues the schools but the municipal buildings as well. The overall review of the report was adequate, the MBC felt that pay back items should be included such as if a furnace is replaced not only will it be reliable but we will recognize a cost savings on efficiency. They felt the pay back issues would be beneficial as a selling point at Town Meeting. Mansfield Hiuh School - Rich Feeley 1. Is the roof age correct? Why are some items not covered by warranty. 2.
