MINUTES
MARCH 14,1995
MEMBERS PRESENT: Steve MacCafiiie, Rich Feeley, Bill Antoine, Dave Young,
Larry Carpenter, Bill Williams, Dianne Royle
GUESTS PRESENT: Roger Hoit - Strekalovsky and Hoit Architects - Municipal
Members ofthe Municipal Building Committee, Town Manager and Selectwoman Royle
reviewed the draft contact presented by Strekalovsky and Hoit, Architects for the
Municipal Projects. Mr. Hoit and committee members discussed the contract and made
some changes. He will submit these changes to the Town Manager and MBC for final
review before signing.
After the contract negotiations, Mr. Hoit stated that he would be able to attend the April
11, 1995 meeting with the MBC. He requested drawings and any other pertinent
information on the central fire station, town hall, Memorial Hall and Park Row School.
Copies will be made of all existing material. He will be preparing questionnaires for
distribution by the Town Manager.
The Committee discussed the meeting that was held earlier in the day with the Building
Inspection Department, members of the MBC, Bernie Jackson and the architects for the
school projects.

MOTION: To send a memo to Mr. Williams asking for his opinion on site plan
review. (Antoine/Carpenter) 5-0-0 PASSES
The MBC discussed the chain of command and operations for the municipal projects. It
was discussed that the present system that was being utilized by the school department
would work effectively with the municipal projects. This would help to reduce the
amount of secretarial time that was being spent on administration of the projects. All
questions, comments and requests are to be directed through the Town Manager, Fire or
Police Chiefs and then brought to the Municipal Building Committee.
