The Committee reviewed these. A discussion followed concerning such issues and programming, parking spaces, traffic flow, wetland zoning issues, maintenance bays, staffing, site survey, generator status. location ofMEMA, meeting rooms, connector concepts. The committee was generally disappointed in the amount of information that was produced for the meeting. They were expecting the programming phase to have been completed and wanted to review the program schematics as illustrated in a floor plan. There were several issues that need to be addressed prior to the May 16, 1995, meeting. These are Wetland Zoning issues, Cost estimates, Fire Department Site location and MBC - MINUTES - MAY 9, 1995 programming, parking space required for employees (seasonal, full time and part time), visitors and town vehicles, schematic design drawings, staffing and program needs for Town Hall, Police and Fire Stations, connector concepts. The Architects agreed to work on this and would forward definitive plans and layouts to the committee prior to the next meeting. The Committee discussed procedures for the Municipal Projects. All information on the municipal projects should be directed through the department heads or facility managers (example Fire and Police Chiefs) to the Town Manager to the Municipal Building Committee. This will ensure the proper flow of communication and information. A memo will be drafted and reviewed at the May 9, 1995 meeting. The Committee discussed bonding and cost estimates on the projects. The architects will forward information on the construction schedule and a time line on the various municipal projects. Once this information has been received a memo will be drafted and sent to the Town Manager, Board of Selectmen, and Finance Committee so that the borrowing schedule can be addressed.
