MEMBERS PRESENT: Bill Antoine, Larry Carpenter, Rich Feeley,
Steve MacCaffrie, Arthur O'Neill, Dianne Royle, Bill Williams •, Qct 047
The meeting opened at 7:00pm at Mansfield Town Hall.
The bids for the Town Hall, Police Station and Central Fire Station were
opened and read publicly. The bids ranged from $2,523,000 - $2,787,729
for Town Hall and Central Fire Station, $1,770,000 - $1,970,000 for the
Police Station and $4,454,000 - $,807,729 for the combination of all three
projects. The MBC took the bids under advisement and will review them at
their next meeting.
Robert Mangiaratti - Town Counsel, presented the projects to the Zoning
Board of Appeals. In order to move forward on the projects, the Town
needed to obtain special permits and variances on the municipal projects.
The Town Hall, Police and West Mansfield Stations applied for special
permits for landscape. A variance is needed for the number and location of
parking spaces for the Town Hall.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:00pm.
