(discussion: there was a request of information to document the history of the roof
problems)
MUNICIPAL PROJECTS:
The members discussed the presentation that was made to the Board of Selectmen. In
preparation for the upcoming Special Town Meeting, the areas of potential weakness were
reviewed. There was a need to give more definitive answers on some code questions and
space needs.
Chief O'Neill briefly touched upon the police station presentation and the need to insure
safety to both the residents and police department personnel.
Chief Sliney discussed the fire station program and stated that the location of the Chief
was not related to the topic, however, there is a need to provide the residents with
accessibility to the public safety personnel.
SCHOOL PROJECTS:
The members of the MBC and the Town Manager reviewed the resumes that were
received for the Clerk of Work's position for the Robinson School Project. Mr. Williams
stated that it was important for this individual to have the skills to make decisions and
have a more involved role in project management. MBC members agreed and noted they
have been discussing revision of the Clerk's job description.
The committee will choose their top candidates for discussion at the next meeting.
MOTION: To adjourn at 9:15pm (Carpenter/Antoine) Unanimous
