PROJECT REPORTS: -
Town Hall
The architect gave a status report on the closeout measures for this project.
General punch list progress: The architect has made arrangements meet with Consigli to
walk through the building to review the punch list completion items. A memo will be
sent to the Town Managers office advising them of this meeting. The architect will call
directly to confirm.
Ramp Variance: This will be forwarded to the Architectural Access Board for action at
their June 10ni meeting.
Roof Ladder: will be installed this week.
Rail clearances on stairways: Consigh will be addressing this week.
Roof Leaks: — no additional leaks. Member Young asked about the standing water on
roof. Both the contractor and the manufacturer have guaranteed this verbally. The
committee asked that this be reviewed carefully.
Maintenance Materials per the specifications: - there were not a lot of these items. The
Committee stated that these items should be delivered to the DPW office and request a
signature for receipt.
Training: Training on the heat system has been completed. The air conditioners are being
charged and a representative was in contract with CAM HVAC. Member Liddick asked if
someone would be interested in taping training sessions for future' reference.
HVAC Completion and Balancing: A tech from CAM HVAC has been in the building
checking the problem items.

Certificate of Occupancy: No action has been taken to renew the temporary. The
,- contractor should be applying for the temporary Certificate of Occupancy until the final
` can be issued.
The committee asked the architect if all the other issues been closed. For example:
heights of the walls, vault walls and temporary egress, temporary lighting — has been
" submitted to the BI's office and a light pattern will be submitted when received from the
electrical engineers.
Member Young asked if we could swap the doors on the hallways with ones that are
being installed at the Police Station Project. The view window on the fire doors is too
high for the average person to see oncoming traffic.
The committee asked about the renderings and as -built drawings for the Town Hall.
Railings: The front center railway will have a handrail.
Signage:For the interior of the building and the elevator has been ordered.
Police Station:
The Building Inspector's office has made a request for affidavits for all individuals that
are on the contract documents as well as Energy Calculations.
Masonry Re bid -response to the Committee should be in this week
Sprinkler System - Police There was a meeting today to review the sprinkler system.
The building is designed with a dry system. The Fire Department wants to have a wet
system in the occupied space. The architect will modify the system. The requirement for
this system is not code issue but rather than a`choice of the Chief to require this type of
system. The original system had a wet system on the bottom floor and a dry system in
the attic space. The architect feels that this will be more expensive by $3,000 - $5,000.
The contractor will have some prices.' The Chair asked that the architect respond to the
Fire Department in regard to their directives to redesign the building. Member Young
asked about the cell area.
The demo work has begun on the building. The HVAC system has been removed. The
`building will be vacated on June P.
The Committee asked when the clerk's trailer would be on site.
Mr. John Reutlinger attended the meeting to discuss the Project Coordinator's position
with the Committee. Mr. Reutlinger,is available to work part-time immediately and full
time in three weeks. He gave an overview of his qualifications. The members asked
questions. Clarification and agreement must be reached for time allocations for the shop
r drawings and conflict issues.

the architect. (CC: E, Giordano)
