Construction Schedule - JTC has not provided and approved schedule to the MBC. In reviewing JTC's recent schedule, Sue Michael Brown established that the Contractor's delay in the locker room area should have shown a gain in other work areas which it did not. The top priority areas to complete by September (per direction of the School Administration) are: Administration/Guidance and classrooms followed by woodshop, band and music rooms. Two science rooms and four general classrooms will be last. School Dept. requires 3-7 days move in time. Revised schedule to be submitted by JTC by July 21, 2000. Mr. Vogel noted that the extrusion piece would correct a limited number of window conflicts at an estimated cost of $1,500 each. Entire count includes approximately 138 windows. Chairman questioned Keyes sole ownership of faults in window systems. Bob Vogel admitted that the plans provided to contractor were signed off by Keyes staff and that Keyes Associates is not financially prepared to incur full cost to fix all windows. MBC was surprised to learn that Cheviot did not take ownership to take proper field dimension measurements. Discussion was that Cheviot should share fault for improper window installation. Keyes indicated that Cheviot Corp. is not cooperating to resolve issue. Bob Vogel to invite Cheviot Corp. to attend the MBC Meeting on July 25, 2000. Chairman stressed that addressing classroom windows is a greater importance than general areas.
