The Mansfield Plgnning Board met at the Mansfield Town Hall on Monday,
January W, 1970.

Present; Chairman Mendes, Clerk Latham, and Planners Nelson, Boldrighini,
Cinelli and MacFarlane.
Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM.
Minutes were read from the meeting of January 5, 1970. Chairman Mendes asked
if there were any errors ,or ommissions noted, 'Motion by Planner Latham,
seconded by Planner Cinelli to accept the minutes, all in favor.
Chairman Mendes advised the Board of a meeting January, 28th of the Southeastern
Region for a discussion on TAMtS water and sewer report and the Army
Engineers report,'
Board discussed their trip to Magna Vista on January 18, 1970 to inspect
the drain between lots 77 and 78 and to see if a head wall had been installed.
They found the ditch full of construction debris and that there was no head
wall installed. Chairman Mendes told the Board he felt they should take
formal action. Motion by Planner Boldrighini to send Mr. D'Annolfo a letter
advising him the area had been inspected and that we couldntt find the end
of the pipe and that if it hasn't been extended to extend it to the prop-
erty line and make a head wall, seconded by Planner Latham, all in favors
Decided that Chairman Mendes will contact Mr.'D'Annolfo rather than send
a letter.
Motion by Planner Nelson, seconded by Planner MacFarlane to sign the Warrant
in the amount of $105;61.
At 8:00 PM the Board held Hearings until 10;00 PM,
Engineer Ralph Maloon and Walter Day met with the Board to discuss drainage
problems concerning his proposed apartment complex in East Mansfield.
Mr:.,Day told the Board that because the water problem was in existence now
he didn't feel he should be responsible for 'correcting it but would be
willing to contribute to having it corrected. Discussion was also held
on sewerage for that area,
Motion by Planner MacFarlane, seconded by Planner Nelson to return a plan
to George Poor for Robert K. & Celeste R. Jones for 3.83 acres on South
Walnut Street as it was not properly drawn, all in favor.
Mrs. Jellinick requested that the Board view the Cooper Gravel Pit to see
just how much gravel has been removed.
Motion by Planner Nelson, seconded by Planner Cinelli to sign a plan for
Emma Hall Buck for land on School and West Street, two lots 34289 square
feet and 14865 square feet, all in favor.
Motion by Planner Latham, seconded by Planner Cinelli to adjourn, all in
favor.
Meeting adjourned at 11:40 PM.
