MANSFIELD PLANNING BOARD
MINUTES
February 25s 1971
The Mansfield Planning Board met in the Planning Board Room of
the Town Office Building on February 252 1971.
Present: Town Planner Maurer' Chairman Mendes, Clerk Latham
and Planners: Nelson' MacFarlane, and Wellington.
Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM.
Minutes were read from the meeting of February 8, 1971. Motion
by Planner Wellington seconded by Planner MacFarlane to accept
the minutes, all in favor.
Notices were received from the Board of Appeals:
Delores M. Benson to establish five unit apartment use,
Hearing Tuesday, March 2 at 8:15.
James P. Foster to construct a garage Hearing March 2 at 8:25
Letter was received from Wayne Torkington, Department of
Community Affairs to William Chandler regarding 701 Contract.
Copy of letter was received from the Norton Planning Board to
Robert Jones of the Conservation Commission regarding the
Canoe River area.
Copy of letter was received from Attorney Ernest White regarding
Robert Eames petition to rezone land on Copeland Drive.
Letter was received from residents on Fowler Street objecting
to the Town Managers proposal to extend Fowler Street.
Town Planner Maurer advised the Board he had been asked by the
Town Manager to compile a list of major items lost in the fire.
At 8:00 PM Chairman Mendes called a Hearing to order for Robert
Rizzo for Wayside Estates. Hearing closed at 9:08 PM.
Motion by Planner Latham seconded by Planner Wellington to sign
a plan for Mansfield Trust for Forbes Boulevard on Chauncy and
Walnut Street, all in favor.
Motion by Planner Wellington seconded by Planner Nelson to sign
a plan for Mansfield Trust on West Street, all in favor.
Motion by Planner Wellington seconded by Planner MacFarlane to
sign a plan for Mansfield Trust in Foxboro and Mansfield for two
parcels, all in favor.
Motion by Planner Wellington seconded by Planner MacFarlane to
adjourn, all in favor.
Meeting adjourned at 10:00 PM.
