that they were . X ^. , under wrong heading.
Motion: That we write the Board of Appeals a letter stating that we are

15. Board reviewed a Board of Appeals application of Donald Ranielr to divide
a piece of property on East Street near the corner of South Main Street.
There will be four apartments going into the house. The variance would
create two non -conforming lots and a non -conforming side yard g.,,
Motions That the Board recommend against this, on the basis that it would
create a four dwelling building on a 10,000 square foot lot when
regulations currently call for 60,000 square feet and that they
could not come near open space requirements of the present by-law.
(Mendes®Chavaree, all in favor)
16. Board reviewed a Board of Appeals application of Peter Fontanini_ to divide
a parcel of land on Tremont Street. Mrs. Jellinek made a point in that the

17. Attorney Ernest White came before the Board to request that the Board
expedite some decision on the Cabot, Cabot & Forbes subdivision of land on
Forbes Boulevard. Cabot, Cabot & Forbes has a prospective purchaser who
is reluctant to sign until some decision is made. Planner Mendes questioned
any progress being made with the abutters to the proposed railroad. He was
advised that they had not met with them yet. Planner Mandes felt that we
should not approve the road layout until we know where the rail is going to
be located and that this should be settled before a decision is made by the
Planning Board.
Attorney White also made a point that Cabot, Cabot & Forbes is reluctant to
change the name of a portion of Forbes Boulevard to Cabot Boulevard in that
certain clients have already incurred printing expenses.
18. Town Planner Maurer advised that until some decision is reached by the -
Board of Health on the Cabot, Cabot & Forbes sudi i sion of land near Walnut
Street the Board cannot make a decision.

line that came down on the southerly easement that was put in there at the

Planner Maurer will check with the Fire Chief and see if he still wants it
and if he does they will have to put it in.
