Planning Director noted that there would be approximately $270,000 in
revenue sharing funds for 1974-75 and felt that all revenue sharing funds
should be allocated towards Capital Improvements and not towards salaries
as they were in 1973-71+.
Motion: That the Planning Board recommend that all Revenue Sharing funds
for 197L+-75 be appropriated for Capital Improvements.
(Latham -Grant, all in favor) VOTED
3. Board noted that the water line had been shown on the plans for Darby Drive
and Lawndale Road. The pipe had been located with a metal detector and that
the Water Superintendent was there when the pipes were located.
Motion: To release the $9,000 being held for Magna Vista and that the
Planning Director not go to Stoneham with Bristol Equipment, for
the exchange of funds, and further, to write Mr. D'Annolfo a letter
requesting that when he sends the deed for the recreation area the
Town will forward the balance of the bond being held for that
project.
