Director Maurer reviewed the memorandum of August 8, 1973 and went over the
points that were mentioned in it. Planner Latham felt that the Fire Chief
should prepare the specifications for the Fire Alarm pedestal so that there
will be a consistency within all developments and that the design would be
acceptable to the Fire Chief.
Board discussed additional requirements for Circle "C" estates as taken from
the notes of the Public Hearing. Planning Director mentioned that he had
talked with Mr. Millette of Waldor Realty and Mr. Millette indicated that
he will probably take the drainage away from the property of Harriet Hood

and run it all across the property of Rezza. If that is the case, many of
the points raised at the hearing would not be valid. Planning Director

of Public Works and the way he described the project to them, a permit
would not be required. With respect to the corner round on the street
frontage lot, Planning Director Maurer advised the Board that Mr. Millette

point of the letter related to the drainage in relationship to the Mansfield
well system and noted that this will be taken care of in the letter to
Waldor Realty.
The second pointooncerdtesithe drainage across the land of Harriet Hood.
Further consideration of this may not be necessary due to the fact that
Mr. Millette has advised he may take the drainage in the other direction.
The third point was in regards to the fact that there are no recreational
facilities in that area. It was noted that the Town of Mansfield owns
recreational land across the street, however, the Planning Director will
check with the Recreation Commission to see if they will require additional
land. If additional land has to be acquired, the Town has three years to
act after signing the plan.
The fourth point was in regards to the filling of the roads and the lots and
its affect on the stability of the roads and lots and the water table.
Regarding the effects of the roads, there are standards in the Planning Board
