for 8:00 P.M. on April 17, 1974, and it was noted that it appeared in the
Attleboro Sum.tonight. Discussion followed on why this was being advertised
in the Attleboro Sun rather than the 'Mansfield News. Planning Director

It was further noted that Mr. Rizzo had complied with all of the Planning
Board's requirements as indicated in their letters of December 13, 1973
and January 21, 1974.
Mr. Rizzo stated that he had spoken with Mr. T.renouth and Mr. Johnson a
couple of times and that they were not responsive to his putting a slope
easement along their property lines, therefore, he had no alternative but
to go with the retaining wall. He also noted that he did not think he could
be required to ;replace the culvert under Otis Street because it was an off-
site improvement, but he stated that this was something he would do.
Chairman Zaffini informed Mr. Rizzo that the Board would discuss this later
and get back to him. The Board permitted several abutters to make comments
on this development. Discussion centered around the impact of the drainage
from the site.

14. Board met with Jim Antosca and Bob Morrisson regarding the preliminary
subdivision plan for Camelot at Mansfield. Planning Director noted that
the formal submission of the preliminary plan was made today. Mr. Antosca
noted that they would like to commence work on the roadways and that they
were looking for any comments from the Board as to whether or not they felt
that this was the best roadway system for this subdivision. He noted that
they felt it was. He also indicated that he had spoken with Mr. Smith
yesterday regarding the easement on his property and that Mr. Smith was 100%
with him. It was noted that Road B should be raised about a foot and a half.
Mr. Antosca .noted that if the Board would like to walk the property, he would
be happy to join them and try to answer any questions they may have..
Chairman Zaffini informed Mr. Antosca :that the Board would discuss this and
get back to him at a later date.
15. Chairman Zaffini noted that he had read in the paper about the situation with
Witch's Pond Well and the Town of North Attleboro, and wondered what the
proposal was right now. Planning Director did not know what would be proposed
at this time.
16. Chairman Zaffini asked about the status of subdivision cleanup. He noted that
he understood that the Planning Director had been down to Magna Vista to view
the Sarro lot. Planning Director noted that Bristol Equipment had left some
tail gates, blocks, etc. on the property. 'Planning Director talked to Bristol
Equipment who noted that they would remove them.
17. Planner Wellington referred to last week's minutes which indicated that the
Conservation Commission had invited the Planning Board to walk Green Acres
property. Planner Wellington noted that no one from the Conservation Commission
was present last Saturday when the walk was scheduled.
Motion: To send a letter to the Conservation Commission with copies to the
Town Manager and the Board of Selectmen that henceforth, when the

was too wet to 'install the underground wiring right now. They asked if Mr. 'Hall
would give them a waiver. Mt. Hall checked with the Planning Director who informed
him that the Planning Board would not be in favor of a waiver. Mr. Hall will
notify Ryan -Elliott by letterthat they will have to proceed as proposed.
19. Planning Director noted that insreviewing the bonds which we are holding on
various subdivisions, there were two that would be expiring in the near future;
Oakleaf Drive on June 26, 1974 and Elmwood Park on July 5, 1974. He felt that
they should be informed now rather than waiting until a later date.
20. Planning Director noted that yesterday he and the Building Inspector looked at
