He noted that they will be recommending that the Town acquire this property, and that the'Y see nothing that will affect or be detrimental to the we'll site in the gravel removal operation. The grading in the area is towards the well and he would suggest that the area where it is in the400 ft. radi!s of the well be regraded to run off parallel to the 400 ft. radius instead of in the radius. He noted the top soil should be put back and the area seeded and planted with trees to slow the rate of run-off. Chairman Flynn asked if they should stop the removal within the 400 ft. radius. Mr. Stockus stated the removal proposed in that area is minimal and wouldn't make any difference. He suggested that the Board should look into watershed zoning as m way of protecting welds. He told the Board the well is rated for 350 gallons a minute. He noted that if the gravel is hauled through the well site to Gilbert Street proper protective measures should be takes; to protect the area. He noted that the quality of the water should be good because they have already taken tests on it. He told the Board he will give them a letter outlining the points he has mentioned for the gravel removal by their next meeting. plus a list of trees and other Towns that have aquifer zoning. 6) Peter Fontanini met with the Board and told them that the dam is finished on.his pond project on South Street.
