Board met with Robert Cummings of GHR Engineering to review the Wind Chime
Acres subdivision. Mr. Cummings reviewed the letter of July 18, 1980.
Mr. Cummings noted that based on their review of the pond that it should work
but there is a potential for nutrients getting into the ground water from
laundry detergents, lawn fertilizers and other donsumer products. He noted that
this 'would be a problem for the ground water even if the pond were not constructed.
He reviewed the plan showing the easements and that it was 'their recommendation
that :an easement should not be placed on the pond that would be granted to the
town. The easements that receive stream water from the streets should be
granted to the town for long term maintenance. Mr.' Cummings explained the
procedure for the DEQE review of the application and Mr. Bonvie stated that
was awaiting the report from the Planning Board so that restrictions written
onthe development by the DEQE would be compatible with the Planning Boards
approved plans. It was noted that 'Planning Board had until next week to make
a decision and it was felt that becausethere was so much information on this
project that the Planning Board would not be able to make a formal decision
at their next meeting. It was the consensus of the Planning Board to have the
Planning Director make a summary of all major points for consideration at the
next meeting. Mr. Bonvie submitted to the Board a letter requesting an
extension of two weeks.
Motion: To grant the request of an extension for Wind Chime Acres Subdivision
until August 13, 1980.
