1) Chairman Flynn called the meeting to order at 7:40 P. M.
2) Correspondence was read by Clerk Kaufman from the following:
Copy of a letter to Town Clerk Arthur M. Remillard from Paul M. Dalton
of Cabot, Cabot and Forbes Co. submitting a plan entitled "Site Plan
Interstate 95 Industrial Center at 495, Mansfield, Mass" dated 5/2/80,
for the purpose of site plan review by the Planning Board.'
Copy of a letter from Town Engineer Stanzione,to the Town Manager
concerning the Old School Street Culvert.
Board of Health minutes for April 23,'1980.
Invitation from the Norton -Mansfield League of Women Voters for a
Legislative Reception on May 16, 1980 at 8:00 P. Main the Mansfield
Town Hall.
Copy of a letter to ;the Board of Selectmen from Byron J. Matthews, `
Secretary,..Executive Office of Communities and Development approving
the Mansfield CARD ,plan.
Letter from-Corrofab, Inc. regarding the revised site plan stating
that they .cannot conform completely to the stipulated recommendations
outlined in the Board's letter of April 25, 1980.
Order of Conditions from the Conservation Commission concerning a lot

May 15, 1980 at T:30 P. M. on the application of Shaw's Supermarkets,
( Inc. for a sign.
Memorandum from Town Engineer Stanzione telling the Board that the
site plan for Michelin Tire Corp. is acceptable as submitted.
Copy of a letter from SRPEDD to the.Conservation Commission concerning
information on the Bonvie Subdivision.
Letter from Carr Research Laboratory, Inc. answering issues and concerns
raised in the April 22, 1980 report prepared ,by IEP, Inc. on the Cabot
Pond Restoration Project.
Copy of a letter from Albert 0. Barbour, Senior Engineer of SRPEDD
to the Conservation Commission concerning the drainage=of the Bonvie
Subdivision.
3) Motion: To approve the minutes of the April 30, 1980 and May 6, 1980
minutes as written.
(Parsons - Seifert, all in favor) VOTED
4) At 8:00 P. M. a Public Hearing was held on the application of Ronald
Bonvie for a definitive subdivision plan on Ware Street known as Wind
Chime Acres. At the beginning of the hearing a petition containing
55 signatures requesting a meeting immediately with the Town Engineer
to discuss the excavation of the pond was submitted by Gilbert Powers.
A complete transcript of the hearing is on file.

5) The next meetings were scheduled as follows:
May 13, 1980 Field Trip at 5:30 P. M. - Cabot, Cabot and Forbes
Industrial Park.
May 14, 1980 Regular Meeting 7:30 P. M. - Mansfield Town Hall.
