He will be coming in to discuss the plans with the board at 8 P. M. on a ,.Planning Board's minutes Page 3 May 18, 1983 May 25, 1983. Planner Seifert also informed him that he would like to know of another situation where a subdivision is located in two towns, and how they were handled. Chairman Genatossio informed the board that Chadwick Maurer pointed out that the road in the subdivision can't be more than 650 ft. He also said that they would have to put in a turn around at the end of the streets. It was pointed out that there is no buffer on Rt. 95. Joseph Zeneski, DPW Director, appeared before the board and informed them that he went over the plans with Bob Morrison, Water Superintendent. The town is not going to be able to serve this subdivision with water. Mansfield has no water services on the north side of Rt. 95. They are concerned with the drainage that will run off into the wetlands, which is part of the aquifer for Wells Nos. 2, 3, 5, and Witch Pond Well. They are also concerned with the perk rates. They are concerned with how other municipal services will be provided to this subdivision, i.e., plowing and rubbish collection. Joseph Zeneski has not reviewed it from a technical point of view. Motion: To send a letter to John Larch, Electric Department Manager, requesting how electrical power will service this subdivision. (Seifert - Flynn, all in favor) VOTED 7. Master Plan There was discussion regarding what the next steps are to be taken. Planner Seifert suggested requesting bids for the complete map work that has to be done for the update. It was the concensus of the board to wait until a new Planning Director is hired. 8. Status of New Planning Director Planner Seifert informed the board that the four finalist refused the job because of the money. It is being readvertised, and the requirement of five years of experience was eliminated from this add. The board has to make a selection on the top three. 9. Cabot's Pond Planner Brugliera informed the board that he spoke with John Dwyer. He was going to have a letter for the board for tonight, but it was not in the correspondence. It was the concensus of the board to wait another week to receive the letter. 10. Form A - Millette - Elm Street This Form A is located on Elm Street and consists of four lots. The reason it does not constitute a subdivision is because when comined with the Scarpellini land as shown on the plan, all the lots conform to zoning and have frontage on an approved street. As the board was reviewing the plan, they realized the locus was incorrect. Motion: To sign the Form A (Seifert - Doucette) WITHDRAWN Motion: To return the Form A because of the incorrect locus (Flynn - Seifert, all in favor) VOTED Planning Board's minutes Page 4 May 18, 1983 11.
