1. Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M.

3. Correspondence
Memorandum from EOCD.to -the Planning Board regarding Main Street
Network Meeting of April 28, 1983.
Memorandum from the Massachusetts Federation of Planning Directors
regarding the April meeting to be held on Friday, April 29, 1983..
Literature from the R. S. Means Company soliciting the Means Cataloque.
Literature from the American Planning Association soliciting the Land
Use Law & Zoning Digest.
Pamphlet from the New England Aquarium regarding Whales, Seabirds, and
Oceans.
Pamphlet from the National Council for Urban Economic Development
regarding Economic Development for 83.
Copy of a hearing notice from the Sharon Board of Appeals. A hearing
will be held on April 21, 1983, at 7:30 on the application of Nelson
Brenner for a variance to convey a portion of his lot at 71-75 Beach St.
Copy of -a hearing notice from the Town of Foxboro. A hearing will be
held on April 25, 1983, to review a site plan for the construction of
five buildings and a road on Morse Street. A hearing will also be held
on May 3, 1983, so the Selectmen may review the above site plan.
Copy of a hearing notice from the Attleboro Zoning Board of Appeals.
Hearings will be held on April 28, 1983, as follows:
Willard Whipple - special permit to operate a retail business at
400 Newport Avenue.
Augat, Inc. - special permit to fill land on 33 Perry Street
I. G. Balfour - special permit to construct an addition at River-
side Road.

Attleboro Landfill, Inc. - special permit to fill land on Peckham
Street.
4. Minutes of April 13, 1983
Motion: To approve
(Genatossio - Brugliera, all in favor) VOTED
Planner Genatossio pointed out that the letter received regarding Cedar
Meadows should be added to correspondence. Also she would like it noted
on Page 4, Parcel 2, she was not opposed to the rezoning of the land, but
she wanted to include the property owned by Wolf and Pitman. Also on
Page 6, Bay Brook Village, Chairman Seifert said he would like it noted
that he was in favor of this rezoning.
5. Bill from New England Telephone in the amount of $48.61
Motion: To pay
(Brugliera - Fiore, all in favor) VOTED
6. Preliminary Subdivision Plan - Witch Pond Estates
This subdivision plan was submitted by Norwood Engineering, and the
applicant is William Zoppo. This subdivision consists of 81 lots.
There are 44 lots in Foxboro, and 37 in Mansfield. The board went
through the required items on a preliminary subdivision plan. All
of the items were on the plan. It was the concensus of the board to
send the plan on to the Department Heads.
Motion: To send a letter to the Foxboro Planning Board requesting
that they meet jointly with the Mansfield Planning Board
to discuss the subdivision plan.
