MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 17, 1986
Present: Chairperson Flynn, Clerk Quinn
Planners: Annino, Genatossio, Madan, Sohn
Planning Director Callinan
1. Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M.
2. Planning Director Callinan spoke to the Board at this time relative to the
advertisement for the public hearing for the Zoning Articles to be
presented at the Special Town Meeting. Due to the fact that other zoning
articles have been received from private citizens and the fact that the
zoning amendments would directly affect two developers who have submitted
site plans for review by the Planning Board, Planning Director Callinan
would prefer to delay the advertisement by one week. Planning Director
Callinan stated that he had changed the original zoning amendment, which
the Board reviewed last meeting, to be submitted as one zoning article
rather than two,
Motion: That the advertisement remain as voted - to be advertised
September 18 and September 25, 1986.

Sohn and Quinn, opposed. FAILS.

Planners Madan and Quinn opposed. PASSES.
Planning Director Callinan had reviewed the amended zoning article (to be
presented as one article rather than two) with Rande Wilson, Town Manager.
This article was presented to the Selectmen for the warrant and the
warrant had closed before the Selectmen could be notified of the Planning
Board's decision to remain with the article as originally voted on by the
Planning Board. Chairperson Flynn and Planning Director Callinan left
the meeting to approach the Board of Selectmen to put the original article
(as submitted to Judith F. Scott, Town Clerk) in the warrant. The article
which is now on the warrant has not been s igned by the Planning Board or
-submitted to Town Clerk.
Chairperson Flynn and Planning Director Callinan returned from the Selectmen's
meeting. At this time Planning Director Callinan does not feel it would be
wise to make an issue of this misunderstanding - the change on the latest
Article is minor. However, Planning Director Callinan and Chairperson Flynn
returned to the Selectmen's meeting at this time to -request that the** warrant
be' -reopened.
