BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING — MARCH 5, 2016

Director Catherine Coyne. Nancy convened the meeting at 8:25 a.m.

Secretary's reports. Minutes of the February, meeting were reviewed and approved.

Treasurer's report. Nancy is taking on 01treasury ui-otidni and will prepare a report in
due course.
Librarian's reports. The librarians' reports were reviewed and discussed.
OLD BUSINESS
Lon¢ range planning survey. Problems have occurred with the program and we should
know more by the April meeting.
Staffing. Lorrie Jenkins has joined the staff as a part time page. Amy will be out on eight
weeks maternity leave around the end of July. Catherine is continuing the search for a substitute
library technician.
Storm closings. The board discussed the procedure for closing the library for inclement
weather. It was.agreed that, whenever possible, the library should coordinate with Town Hall.
Performance evaluations. Catherine discussed her hope to improve the process of
employees' periodic performance evaluations, and her thought that she may find some ideas at the
April PLA meeting in Denver.
