MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING: January 19, 1984
MEMBERS PRESENT: Andrew Barr, David Loving, Patricia Cataloni
Maureen Cook, Carleton Davis
MEMBERS ABSENT: Martha Pierce
The minutes of the special meeting of January 12, 1984 were
read and approved.
A letter of commemdation along with a gift certificate was
presented to Margaret O'Connell for her excellent performance
as a member of the Commission.
The election of officers was held and the following were
elected:
Maureen Cook Chairperson
Patricia Catoloni Vice -Chairperson
Martha Pierce Treasurer
Carleton Davis Secretary
Applications for appointment.to complete the unexpired term of
Margaret O'Connell were received and studied.
Helena White
Linda Lipson
Ronald Buck
It was voted to.recommend to the Town Manager that Helena White
receive the appointment.
The minutes of a recent meeting of the Planning Board relative
to the Spaulding School was read. A survey form will be supplied
to both the Planning Board and the Downtown Advisory Committee.
It was noted that two houses with possible historic value had
been demolished without our knowledge. Andrew Barr is to again
request the Building Inspector to advise the Commission prior to
any further demolition.
Patricia CatalonA read a report of the activities of the Commission
to be inserted in the Annual Town Report.
Minute;- of the meeting of January 19, 1984:
Carleton Davis read a copy of the Article to be inserted in
the Warrant for the Annual Town Meeting.
Maureen Cook, Patricia Cataloni and Andrew Barr will w31-1 meet
with the Finance Committee to discuss the Commission budget for
1984.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at
8:30 PM.
