1. Library
C. Seifert reported that the Trustees voted to allocate space in,
the existing library building on the first floor with the co-
operative use of the young adult room for the Council on Aging.
2. Minutes of January
Motion: Approve

Members of the Council on Aging met with the Committee. They
included Linda Martinelli, Bette Mugford, Harr Nordberc, Bra'j,, A'
Dauphine. Discussion in-cluded possible space for the Council
in -the library. Their present space is not large enough for
all activities they would like to offer and they are not able
to do any cooking or sterilizing of dishes. Building is 27' x
551 approximately with very small parking area in the back,,'
They would require a soundproof room for privacy. A 10 year
contract with the Library was suggested. This would have to be
voted on by the Council.. Shevalier stic��ted that from the time
Town Meeting approved the money for con'struction it could be
2-3 years before the Council could occupy"'the building,, Discu, Jo
of the Council buying property for a permanent location. kss_.L n
Mrs. Martinelli stated that the Board of Selectmen did not feel
the Town would vote for a separate facility for the Council when
space in the library could be made available. Antonuccio. stated
that there was no real planning that the MBC could do right now
and that if Town Meeting approved funds and the Council decided,
they would like to go into the Library.19then further decisions
could be made.
Shevalier met with theCommitteeand presented material for Town
Meeting presentation: site plan, rendering, 1 st and 2nd floor
layout, site analysisq program.study. Also presented letter
stating areas where zoning variances would be required, as well
as cost estimates.
Warrant for April Town Meeting closes on February 19 articles
will have to be submitted for purchase of land
funds for
construction. Set up a meeting with Board of Selectmen to make
presentation of plans.
Shevalier will meet with the MBC again on February 14.
