3. Chairman met with the School Committee andpresented plans of
the Library expansion. Requested their cooperation in that the
library as planned would encrouch upon school land and that
there would be inconvenience during construction. Chairman k_.'id
promise them a security fence around the construction.
Regarding the access road between the library and Park -Pow the
School Committee did express the fact they did not wish it to
be used as a drive around only as a fire lane as desired by the
Fire Chief. They did not want vehicles on there under any
conditions. Chairman felt their overall view of theproject
seemed to be fairly positive.
Chairman will meet with the Planning Board as soon as possible.
They must review all plans for all municipal buildings.
4. QMS Auditorium ceiling --- letter to James Fitzgerald requesting
status of quotations for repair work. Copy Rick Coffey.
5. MBC discussed presententation. of library project at Town Mecting
ith members of Trustees present. MBC and Trustees will share
wi
presentation duties and answering questions from the floor.
J. Grady presented a letter which the Trustees received -from
the Council on Aging in which they stated they were not interested
in being part of the Library project, Letter to be sent to the
Council stating the MBC's disappointment in their decision and
advising them that they may still be included in theplanning
Up until final plans are drawn,

6. Next meeting will be March 27 toplan Town Meeting strategv.
7. Letter from the Trustees to the MBC requesting that the MBC
proceed with getting a qualified appraiser •to ap I praise the
Calhoun property, J9 Douglas will contact an appraiser he is
familiar with and get back to
