April 15, 1981

1. Minutes of March 12, 1981
Motion: Approve
(Verzola-Durbano, all in favor) VOTED
2. Copy of letter from Burgess and B1acher to Koppers regarding Mansfield
High School Roof
3. Application for appointment to MBC - William McCaffrie
4. Copy of a letter from Joseph Hinchey to Superintnedent of Schools enclosing
a copy of a newspaper article describing a $2.3 million damage awarded to
a high school in Vermont by GAF Corp because of roof leaks.
5. Clarence Morese met with the MBC. The Trustees are withdarwing the article
for the library addition, and have inserted an article in the sum of
$12,000 for the purpose of installing smoke detectors and fire alarms and
other repairs required for public safety. The Fire Chief, Fire Protection
Officer and Building Inspector have inspected the building. Letter to be
written to Town Manager asking if these improvements will have any
effect on decreasing the fire insurance cost of the Library. Trustees
will present the article at the Town Meeting.
6. Request from Secretary Joan Crotty for salary change.
Motion: To accept the request for $10 for the first hour of each meeting
and $4.50 for each additional hour

Effective as of the next meeting.
