The committee was reorvanized with Steven MacCaffrie unanimously
voted as Chairman and Frank Guardabascio unanimously voted as
Clerk. The secretary to notify the Town Clerk and Board of
Selectmen.
Mr. Charles Norris from HMFH, architects, after conferences with
Mr. Barbarisi and school administrators, presented three pre-
liminary site plans for review. He showed changes to the initial
presentation of proposkal which reduced or combined several
areas for a total of 10,000 square feet. This to meet SBAB.
The core is being built for foreseeable expansion to accomma-
date a limit of 600 students.The Board puts its trust in Mr.
Barbarisi proven skill in projecting school enrollments over
the past years.
Mr. Norris showed whatlwas reviewed with the school administrators
as to the functional relationship of the school, showing the
classroom layout and the flow pattern.
Mr. Norris pointed outlthat the wetlands have been flagged on
the preliminary site plan. There. are some alternative road
plans, one with the entrance coming close to the playing fields
crossing the brook, and two nearer the Qualters school, with
the nearer one crossing a portion of the designated wetlands.
The Board unanimously agreed that the roadway nearest the other
school which would skirt the wetland is most desirable.
Plans of building location and design will be ready for the
meeting on February 1,1 1988.
The time schedule for ,!approval processes was briefly discussed
and it was decided to .approach the Conservation Commission for
their timing. A plan wIill be provided them at a later date.
HMFM will be prepared Ifor a fully developed plan for Town Meeting.
Any and all SBAB applications will be handled by the school

It was again voted that all communication on this project
going to any other committee would go through the Municipal
Building Committee.
The next meeting will be on January 25, 1988 in the High
Schoolibrary at 7:301P.M. with subsequent meetings on
_CrFebruary 8 an 2nd.!
The meeting adjourned at 10:15 P.M.
