MINUTES OF MEET. -x NG F BRUARY 1, 1988 ` �•
The meeting was',called,to order at 8:00 P.M. at the Library
by Chairman Mac,Caffrie;with a full board present.

Mr. Barbarisi reported�on the cost estimates for the refer-
endum overrideon the new schools. It was unanimously voted
that the figure;of 22.5 million dollars be presented.
The minutes of -:the meeting of January 18, 1988 were approved
as written.

The letter on the insurance was given to Wilson Raines.
Wilson reported:. that the fire chief would like a hydrant
but was not interested in sprinkler systemfor entire building
A 2 inch water line would provide for miscellaneous sprinkling
of boiler room'°and any',other necessary spots. Sewer would be
from Pratt Street and also gas from Pratt Street to rear of
building. There would be the possiblity of a 15' blue stone
access road from Pratt'Street which could be chained off.
The electrical and telephone services would be from Hope Street.
He will pass the plansiby the b uilding inspector one more time.
Wilson wants to meet next week to go over a more detailed plan
on the building:

The next meeting will be on February 8, 1988 in the Library
at 6:30 P.M. and will be adjourned to the Superintendents
office conference room.
