Minuets of meeting May 24,1988

1^ Reviewed the minuets of the preconstruction conference
2" Reviewed correspondance to and from MBC
3" Noted to the Architect that correspondance recieved from
Minuteman Engineering was not signed.All correspondance

4.Voted to authorize the Architect to forward a Change
Proposal Request to Minuteman Engineering for removal of
materials which were not shown on the contract
documents"We would like to have this information ready for
meeting next Tuesday.
5.Amzrican Testing took samples for proposed materials to
be used for general and structural fills.The MBC will
follow the reccomendations of the Testing Lab for the use
of this material.
6.MBC is requesting that the Architect review the truss
details and connections to avoid lengthy shop drawing
approvals" The Architect noted that they are aware of the
problem and the Structural Engineer is working on the
problem.
7^ It was moved that there would be a meeting next Tuesday
at 7:30 at Town Hall to review the extra work scope and
that the Architect would direct that the contractor also
be pqesent.
B"Reviewed the resume of George Mathews for the position of
Clerk and also interviewed him on his qualifications.
Motion was made to hold any decision until next Tuesday as
ad has again been placed in the papers for the position"
9^The discussion of the sub -committee which was tabled was `
motioned by C.Cauldwell to be set up to be available to
resolve the day to day problems which require immediate '
decisions so as not to delay the contractor until the full
committee can be informed and Oke further actinn.Seconded
by J. Corliss the committee will consist of C. Cau]dwell
S. MacCaffrje William Verzola Dinah Amsden.
10. It was voted to approve relocation of Yhp Mini Bus

garage and to have a change proposal written to provide
positive security to the building"
� 11 The MBC requested that the Architect check their billing
and to provide as soon as possible the kitchen equipment
details and specifications as well as the furnishings and
case work.
