Minutes of Meeting held May 31, 1988
Present: W. Verzola, C. Antonuccio, S. MacCaffrie, C. Cauldwell, J. Corliss,
D. Amsden, F. Guardabascio
Visitors: Maggie Russell - Minuteman Engineering

Motion was made and seconded to accept minutes of last meeting with corrections
noted. Voted
Motion to accept Larsen Associates by J. Corliss, seconded by C. Cauldwell
for the purpose of monitoring wetlands replication. To date Larsen has been
coordinating wetland relocation with the contractor. Contractor is now satisfied
that response is positive. Larsen replaces Botanist of record (Sabbatia) which
has proved nonresponsive to the needs of the contractor and town to provide prompt
service. Voted
Motion to work time and material removal of debris as indicated on Atlantic
Survey report which were not indicated on site survey provided by town in contract
documents in excess of the 170' contour by D. Amsden. Seconded by C. Cauldwell.
In the absence of a clerk, R. Verzola will monitor. Voted
Received American Testing recommendations for three fill samples as verbally
- given to S. MacCaffrie by B. Montgomery. None of the materials tested to date

Reviewed sample of on site material at the request of the architect which
may be questionable for footings. The area must be stripped first and elevations
checked to see if further removal is necessary.
Motion by F. Guardabascio to table discussion on clerk of works as town ,manager
is out of town until the 14th of June. Seconded by J. Corbiss. S. MacCaffrie may
review applicants during this period to forward to town manager for possible hiring.
Judy Epstein clarified the billing to date as questioned at the last meeting.
C. Cauldwell stated that fund raising would pay for the sequestered area since
it was added as part of the C.O.A./Library "like tcg see" list Dior to bidding.
This pricing is to be reviewed with the chairmanrcontractor,`G. Cauldwell. The
architect will provide their unit estimate for review.
Motion by C. Antonuccio, Seconded by C. Cauldwell. Meeting adjourned at
8:32 p.m.
