MINUTES OF MEETING 8/23/88,

MINUTES:
Motion by C. Cauldwell seconded by J. Corliss to approve bill from Minute
Man Engineering for $103,075.00. All in favor.
Maggie questions patio brick color. Two samples have been chosen. No
further discussion.
J. Corliss questions why garage floor not done same time as slab.
Requesting from architect that he prepare 3 bids on kitchen equiptment,
etc. Maggie will need by mid September.
Letter to be sent to Minute Man Engineering expressing concern with
process of project. Schedule work 1 month behind and requests that
schedule be adjusted to comply with January 1, 1989 completion date.
Committee concerned with delay from architect. Has tried to contact
several times. Will not return calls. Architect feels this is a concern
and will look into.
Letter to be sent to Design Partnership in regards to delay in receipt of
process of submittals for approvals as well as process of approved
changes. Requesting that project be serviced per agreement.
Contractor concerned with electrical inspection. Contractor spending 2
hours in -the a.m. waiting for secretary to provide answers.µ Will request
that inspector provide inspection tags when materials have passed. Town
Manager will be contacted.

Motion by C. Antonuccio seconded by F. Guardabascio to approve bl-rl. from
Design Partnership for $1,527.00 to slurry wires in trench at job site.
Voted 7-0.
Received bill from Design Partnership for $4,500.00. Motion to reject
bill until proper service can be provided according to contract. Letter
will be sent to Design Partnership concerning this.
Discussion on window opening sizes.

Letter to be sent to Board of Selectman/Sewer Commissioners regarding
design change to manhole. Requesting to add manhole within 10' of building
serviced by 6" pvc/ci at maximum pitch, use 8" pvc to sewer manhole at
Pratt Street.
Meeting adjourned 9:30 p.m. Next scheduled meeting September 13th at 7:30
p.m.
