Request for Bids
The Town of Mansfield, invites sealed bids for the "RFB#DWP-ME 17-01 Mansfield
Municipal Electric Office Reconfiguration" in Mansfield, Massachusetts, in
accordance with the documents prepared by TBA Architects, Inc. The Town of
Mansfield will receive sealed bids as listed below at which time they shall be opened
and read aloud at the Mansfield DPW Office, Six Park Row, Mansfield, MA. Bids must
be in a sealed envelope and on the outside be clearly marked with the date and
description of the bid. Bids received after the hour named will not be considered.
The Project consists of: Office reconfiguration, installation of new interior doors
and windows, and new service counters.
The scope of work is estimated to cost $25,000.
Wage rates as determined by the Mass. Commissioners of the Department of Labor
and Industries apply to this project. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in an
amount that is no less than five (5%) percent of the proposal amount made payable to
The Town of Mansfield. Bid deposits shall be either a certified check, bid bond,
treasurer's check or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company. A
Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance will be required.
Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with the General Laws, Chapter 149 Section
44A through 44J as most recently amended, and other applicable laws.
