Adjournment ncn ^) Mrm M *(Subject to Change) rn© pp 4s+ `n rn CANCELLATION DATE & TIME: AUTHORIZED SIGNA Subdivision Regs Amendments PB TOWN OF MANSFIELD PLANNING BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING In accordance with Chapter 41, Section 81 of the Massachusetts General Laws, the Mansfield Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 7:15 p.m. in the Planning Board's meeting room at the Town Hall, Six Park Row, Mansfield, MA regarding proposed amendments to the Subdivision Regulations. The proposed amendments are intended to reflect current subdivision construction techniques and practices, are described as follows: Amending various paragraphs to reflect the dates of current local and state documents; current plan preparation and submission technology; current soil survey and percolation test practices; Amending various paragraphs to give the Planning Board the ability to waive Subdivision Regulation requirements; Adding a new Section 4. 10, Low Impact Development; Amending Section 4.1.4.4, Residential Compound Private Roadway Design Standards, with regard to width, drainage, utilities, street lighting and sidewalks; Amending Section 5.2, Street and Roadway construction, to require concrete sidewalks to be installed with a sandy gravel base; to prohibit recycled materials to be used unless specifically approved; to require paving to be done between November 15 and April l 5; to require the minimum asphalt thickness to be five inches (5"), including three inches (3") of binder and two inches (2") of topcoat and to conform to the standards for super paving; Amending Section 5.3, Utilities, to require conformance with current water, sewer, gas, electric, cable and drainage requirements; Amending Sections 5.4, Sidewalks, and 5.5, Curbs and Berms, to reflect current construction standards; and Amending Section 5.7, Trees, to change street tree options.
