Non -Profit Gift Fund Committee Meeting Minutes
May 11, 2016
Members Present: Kevin McNatt, Chairman; Nancy Wall, Vice -Chairman; Lorilee Fish, Secretary;
Charles Boehm, Rosemarie Sirois
1. Open Meeting 7:13pm
2. Motion made by Chuck Boehm to accept the April 20, 2016 minutes, 2"a by Nancy Wall, three in
favor, one abstention, and one late and did not vote.
3. $613.00 returned to the gift fund. Balance: $51,336.91
3. A motion was made by Chuck Boehm to accept the below listed grants for the stated amounts and
seconded by Nancy Wall:
TOWN:
The NPGF Committee is requesting $1,350 for office equipment and supplies:
Parks & Recreation Department $2,459 for 2 banners, Summer Camp office and Arts & Crafts
equipment and supplies for programs:
Friends of Memorial Park: Denied for a lack of required information
Beautification Committee $3,452 for a banner, tent and tablecloth w/logo for events and an updated
tri -fold brochure:
Mural Committee $7,890 for update present brochure, link QR code, with web site and Facebook
and to repair 93 "paint bubbles on the mural:
Historical Commission $11,000 for the restoration and preservation of town "Revere & Sons" bell:
SCHOOLS:
Robinson Elementary School $5,800 to build garden beds, equipment, supplies and plants:
OTHER:
Mansfield Citizen Scholarship Fund $1,000 to purchase a computer, software and printer for the
organization:
MMAS: Denied for a lack of information and repetitive equipment requests:
Natural Resources Trust $4,000 to printing of 500 copies of the book "The Old Town" by Harry
Chase:
Pop Warner Football: Denied due to missing quotes from vendor for Cheerleader uniforms,
megaphones and conclusion of 2014 grant:
Spring Brook Cemetery Corp. $7,845 to paint the chapel interior, sand/refinish the wood floor,
wiring for wall sconces and
Denied: Fencing for cemetery perimeter $26,000.00:
UnCommon Theater $4,740 to paint the exterior of the Hartwell School
Faith Fellowship Methodist Church $1,550 to purchase computer software and 2 laptops:
Our Daily Bread $226.50 to purchase an outside storage shed for people to leave food.
All in favor with abstentions by Nance, Kevin, Rose and Lorilee on their various Organi2ation
affiliations.
Gift Fund: $51,336.91
Grant Balance: $51,312.50
Remaining in fund: $24.41
Motion made by Lorilee Fish to adjourn the meeting, 2nd by Chuck Boehm
All in favor.
