BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING - NOVEMBER 2, 2015

Treasurer's reports. The treasurer's reports for September and Octo'er 4W r0viAveod
approved.
Librarian's report. The librarians' reports were reviewed and discussed.
OLD BUSINESS
Reference librarian. After reviewing over 30 applications and interviewing several
candidates, Catherine has selected a recommended replacement for Cassie Ormonde who left on
October 4 and is now at the Greenville RI Library. After discussion the board unanimously
approved extending an offer to Amy Rosa at Step 3 because of her prior experience and competition
from other libraries. Catherine will call Ms. Rosa tomorrow and followup with an official email
offer.
NEW BUSINESS
Library board. Chris and Joe announced that they will not be seeking reappointment to the
library board when their terms expire on December 31.
Holiday schedule. The board approved closing at 5:00 p.m. on November 25 and 12:00
p.m. on December 24. The library will also remain closed on Friday and Saturday, December 26-27
and will close at 3:00 p.m. on December 31.
PLA meeting. The board approved Catherine's attending the next PLA meeting, April
2016.
Next meeting. December 5, 2015. The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
