Mansfield Town Meeting
Minutes for Tuesday, May 3, 2016
Mansfield High School
Upon reaching a quorum, Town Moderator, Robert Saquet, opened the Town Meeting with the
Pledge of Allegiance. For the schools:
Members Present:
Michael Trowbridge, Chair
Kiera O'Neil
Lynn Cavicchi
Linda Fernando
Jenn Walsh
Members Absent: None
Also Present:
Zeffro Gianetti, Superintendent of Schools
Edward Vozzella, Director of Finance and Operations
Article 2: Budget Presentation
Zeffro Gianetti presented the FY17 budget and Mansfield Public Schools Summary for FY16 in
support of Article 2: To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate, transfer from available
funds or borrow pursuant to any applicable statute a sum of money to defray the expense of the
Mansfield Public School System for the ensuing 12 -month period beginning July 1, 2016; or take
any action in relation thereto.
Article approved at Town Meeting.
Article 26: Citizen petition to modify audit committee
School Committee provided their input into the request by a citizen to increase the number of "at
large" members; to increase the term length of all "at large" members.
Article rejected at Town Meeting.
