The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. at Mansfield Airport.
Approve Minutes
Motion: To approve minutes from December 17, 2014. Passes.
Internet Issues
• Carol requested that a link to the new Facebook page be posted on the shelter's website.
• Carol presented operating policies for the new Facebook page.
• Carol, Chuck, and Sharon have administrative rights to the Facebook page.
• Mary reported that the shelter database is now set up to run reports on the number of
Foatboro dogs and cats entering the shelter.
ACO Report 'f
• Jeff will ask Town Counsel if a written report of Mini's medical condition should be
given to and signed off by David Aristide.
• Dog volunteer Jo -Ann Parks called Jeff, volunteering to foster Sadie Mae. Mary will
contact Jo -Ann to ask if she will foster Sadie Mae for the next three months, during Lyme
treatment
Maintenance
Jeff will take the screen on the new playroom door to True Value Hardware to have stronger
screening installed.

Miscellaneous
• Ana suggested that calls from David Aristide should be directed to the ACO, rather tnan
be taken by volunteers. No consensus was reached, so volunteers will continue to take
T)nvid's calls
• Ana and Leslie are investigating a pet food program sponsored by Hills. which reamrel-
in-shelter advertising in exchange for free or reduced cost food. Jeff will get permission
from the Police Chief-

• JoJo was found to have tapeworms after adoption. Ana agreed that MSF would pay for
Profender (not available OTC) treatment of stray and outdoor cats entering the shelter,
with the treatment to be given by a vet at the time of vaccination.
• Erika reminded us that she can get medications for cost.
